Westminster Assembly #245 was constituted in 1974 and meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, (except July and August), at the Masonic Temple in Westminster, MD. Chartered by the Supreme Assembly of the Social Order of the Beauceant, there are currently 34 Assemblies throughout the United States. For more information, see also the S.O.O.B. website.

Our MISSION is to promote sociability for our members and their families and to aid our local Commandery and the Grand Commandery of Maryland. Membership is open to wives, widows, daughters, granddaughters, mothers and sisters of members of the Knights Templar or Beauceant members who are in good standing, or were at the time of their demise. Petitioners must be 18 years of age.

ACTIVITIES include picnics, dinners, and programs for our members; trips to dinner theaters and other destinations, serving dinners for local and state Masonic groups, and working together on various crafts and philanthropic projects.

The Knights Templar Eye Foundation (KTEF) is our primary CHARITY, but we also support local community organizations such as Shepherd’s Staff and CC Food Sunday. Other past projects include Linus Project blankets, knit caps for Mercy Hospital’s neonatal unit, pillows for cancer patients, and small stuffed animals for distribution by police, fire, and EMS providers.
